Love mashed potatoes, so do I!  When I made the switch to a healthier lifestyle, I thought we had to give them up for good.  So you can only image how excited I was to find a substitutes for them.  So luckily I found our new favorite side dish, Cheesy Garlic Mashed Cauliflower Recipe

So I wanted to make sure I shared this recipe with you.  It compliments the Turkey Meatloaf really well 🙂


  • 1) 1 Head of Cauliflower
  • 2) 4 Cloves of Garlic
  • 3) 2 tbsp butter
  • 4) 1/8 cup almond milk
  • 5) Sea Salt to taste
  • 6) Black Pepper to taste
  • 7) 1/4 cup shredded Italian Mix Cheese


1) Wash Cauliflower and cut off florets.  Peel garlic.  Place cauliflower and garlic in steamer Steam until cauliflower is soft

2) Put steamed cauliflower and garlic into food processor or if you don’t have one of those put it in a bowl and use a beater to puree the cauliflower and garlic

3) Add butter, salt, almond milk, & black pepper.

4) Puree until well blended

IMG_10025) Add Cheese and continue to puree until smooth like mashed potatoes.  Taste and add more pepper if desired
